Supporting SMBCs through mindful movement.

So you can thrive—body & mind.

You’re on the path of solo motherhood, and it isn’t always easy. But, you know what…?

  • You deserve to be supported, even though you’re doing this on your own.

  • You deserve to feel good in the body you have, even during fertility treatment.

  • You deserve to thrive, both physically and mentally.

Preconception · Prenatal · Postpartum

Yoga for every stage of solo motherhood

  • A white heron standing on a partially submerged log in a calm body of water, with its reflection visible. The heron has a long yellow beak and black legs, and there are small branches and debris floating on the water.

    Gentle

Slow, grounding movement to help you reconnect with your body and breath

  • Pink flamingo standing on sandy beach near water.

    Slow Flow

Low-impact flow to build strength and flexibility at a steady, accessible pace

  • A blue egg in a bird's nest made of twigs and grass, surrounded by green foliage.

    Prenatal

Coming soon… Pelvic mobility and health for a more empowered pregnancy and functional birth

  • A mother duck with brown and black feathers, swimming in water, leads a group of six ducklings with yellow and brown fuzzy feathers.

    Postpartum

Coming soon… Nurture yourself as you heal, recover with intention, and rebuild stronger

Yoga is about slowing down, tuning in, and supporting yourself through every part of this journey, so you can show up as the most grounded, nourished version of yourself for you and your (future) little ones.

Hi, I’m Mel.

I have a passion for women’s health and exercise science. I am a certified yoga instructor with specific training in both prenatal and postpartum yoga. I also hold a bachelor’s of science degree in cell and developmental biology and a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology.

I am a single mom by choice (SMBC); my daughter is the precious result of three rounds of IVF, an adenomyosis diagnosis, and a difficult pregnancy that included hyperemesis and prenatal depression.

Yeah, I'm walking this road with you.
