Prenatal Sneak Peek

Prenatal yoga sessions are designed to bring balance to the pelvis, pelvic floor, and uterine ligaments, encouraging baby into an optimal birthing position. Combined with childbirth education, prenatal yoga will help prepare your body and mind for a more empowered, more functional, and less complicated pregnancy and birth.

Each prenatal yoga session includes traditional yoga asana (or poses) including safe modifications for commonly practiced poses, functional movement including the appropriate use of props to support the pregnant body, breathwork to support the abdominals and pelvic floor, meditation and restorative poses, and childbirth education.

Suggested Props:

  • Yoga mat

  • 2 Blocks (or full paper towel rolls / rectangular tissue boxes)

  • Bolster (or couch cushion / firm pillow)

  • Blanket (or towel)
